Hello world. My name is Andrew Porter. I started this blog to give myself an outlet to create and share my own original work (thoughts, reflections, life interactions). I love sports, music, television, and film. Each one of these expressions has so much to offer us all as we all travel on our own personal life journey. I have been influenced in different ways by each one of these expressions and thus they make up who I am today. Hearing one song can bring you joyous nostalgia and take your mind to forgotten places of years past. TV and film provide valuable life lessons and we soon become emotionally invested as our favorite characters invade our lives. And lastly, sports. The fire and desire. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. It's why we play and why we watch. Sports not only teaches us lessons, but it also unifies us all and gives us an uncanny attachment to a group like no other. These are just a few of my passions.
