We are UGA ELITE. Exceptional Leaders Identifying the Talents of Everyone. ELITE is a new network at the University of Georgia debuting today. We are dedicated to producing news stories in sports, music, entertainment, and campus life.
This network will be a platform for all journalists to showcase their work and receive feedback. Additionally, we want to teach and inspire aspiring writers how to cover stories. We don’t expect you to be fully polished because neither are we.
Of course, top priority will go to Grady majors, but all majors are accepted and ask to join if interested.
ELITE has numerous positions open. We are looking for journalists to write stories in the fields of sports, music, campus life, personal columns and poetry. Also, we plan to have reporters talk about these stories in video packages and podcasts. There are positions open in photography/video, advertising, and public relations for ELITE.
Below, you will find a link to the application. The application is due August 25, 2014 at 11:59pm. This is the first set of applications. Another set will go out again in mid-December.
